This new arrival has been a long time in the making!! I have been waiting for the perfect Sipan lineage llama for nearly three years, when I came across an incredible dam owned by Bob LaMorte of Northwind Llama Farm. Hiebert Fannie Mae is an amazing dam with an incredible conformation and proven producer of very correct crias. Before I could Purchase Fannie Mae, my good friend Tori Howk snapped her up! This was a blessing in disguise as Tori owned an amazing Sipan grandson -JNK MARISCO’S MACCHIATO. I reserved the first offspring of this match before it was even conceived!
To my joy, Fannie Mae produced a fantastic intense brown and red/grey cria April 2011. Even more to my surprise, were the plentiful reverse appy spots we found when she was shorn for her first show.
I am extremely grateful to Tori for allowing me to purchase this amazing girl! I will have fun showing her for the next several years, and then will have fun crossing her with my unrelated males! UPDATE: In 2013, my good friend Tori was kind enough to sell me Fannie Mae – Minyana’s dam. I was so thrilled!! Fannie Mae is currently bred to LUA Bravado’s Izadoro for a spring 2014 cria. This pairing is another match I have been waiting years to see!!
Yana is a TALL athletic girl easily 6’6″ at the pole and still growing. She should top out at around 45″-47″ at the withers. Since she is reverse appy, I feel she should also throw amazing color. Yana’s 2016 cria was amazing – Roxywood’s Sambuca. A nice grey paint heavy wool male (SOLD). Bred to Izzi for a fall 2017 cria.
